We construct for ourselves a pinhole camera, exploratively tinkering with settings such as aperture size, shutter speed, and ISO in order to observe firsthand the effect of such parameters on pinhole photographs.
In case you couldn’t guess, these are some of our results.
As an extended application of our camera, we also use it to paint with light. We accomplish this by waiting till nighttime, creating as long of an exposure as possible, and tracing patterns through the air with a flashlight.
If my artwork below serves as any indication, I am not destined to be one of the greats when it comes to light painting.
